Aromatherapy: Pancreas Treatment with Cypress Pure Essential Oil
By KG Stiles HOT COMPRESS TREATMENT FOR PANCREAS DISCOMFORT WITH PURE CYPRESS OIL: Pure Cypress oil has been used to treat pancreatic disorders and may help restore healthy functioning of the pancreas. Use this HOT COMPRESS TREATMENT with pure Cypress Oil to relieve pancreas discomfort. Excellent for topical application to ease inflammation and pain from pancreatitis. Dispense 4-8 drops of pure Cypress oil, alone or blend with other pure essential oils, in a teaspoon of whole milk or cream. Pour oil mixture into a small to medium stainless steel bowl of HOT water. Absorb the “HOT” water into a wash cloth. Using protective gloves, wring out excess water and apply HOT compress to area of pancreas discomfort. Repeat when your cloth cools. You may cover the HOT Compress with a plastic sheet or a towel to keep it “HOT” longer. For a soothing HOT COMPRESS blend 1 or 2 of these pure essential oils with Cypress oil: Geranium, Fennel, Lavender, Rosemary, Sandalwood. CAUTION: Please avoid Cypress oil during pregnancy due to its circulatory and hormonal effects. If you do want to use Cypress oil while you are pregnant please consult a qualified professional aromatherapist, as it can be especially beneficial in certain situations.
